I was looking around at a great website www.city-data.com for information on Restons home sales and to my surpise I learned so much more about the demographics of this steadily growing zip code and surrounding city.  By there calculations Restons home sales are on the rise and I thought that was worth sharing, here is a snapshot of one of their charts.

Restaurant Three (3) Clarendon

Saturday night my wife and I, with a few close friends, enjoyed an amazing atmosphere and dinner at Restaurant 3 in Arlington Virginia. Situated in small corner of the block that Station Square condominiums dominates, this casual dining ’hot spot’ now replaces what was once  a small Greek restaurant in the parking lot of Golds gym (Clarendon).

With our indoor reservation we were lucky to change it  to an outdoor setting, curb side on the buss-ling, Clarendon blvd. While soaking up the city setting we started with a cocktail and the blue cheese chips that were a perfect starter. We then moved on to our entrees. I indulged in the black and blue tuna while my wife had the pork chop. Our company had the tuna and the sea bass. All entree were awesome and no one walked away hungry.

As we were leaving I happened to note that the restaurant had guests of all types so if your a family with young kids or on your first date this place is an accommodating setting for both and every scenario in between. The wait staff was terrific and the food delicious.

History of Reston Virginia brought to you by Realtor Scott Montgomery

Reston is a Planned Community in Northern Virginia. Today’s Reston is the product of the vision of Robert E. Simon, Jr. and the Mobil Corporation. It is the nation’s best known and most successful planned community, or New Town, as they are often called. Planned Communities integrate every aspect of human life including the social and economic, education, health services, recreation, religious institutions, industrial facilities and commercial centers. Placement of roads, utilities and housing are predetermined for the entire development in advance of construction. Housing is provided for a variety of income levels. The planned community movement started in Great Britain in the late nineteenth century and spread to the United States after World War I. During the 1930s, the U.S. government sponsored planned communities called “greenbelt towns.”

Can A Little Wire Improve My Home’s Value?

Homes that have Fiber get more attention as today’s consumers are more reliant on high speed access for many reasons. Even homes that are passed by fiber would naturally have more appeal.

And overall consumers are happier with the service aspects of having Fiber vs. other technologies.

If you are about to market your home for sale, or purchase one that is either Fiber ready or Fiber enabled, you should stay up on the great resources at www.ftthcouncil.com a non-profit education organization.
