Northern Virginia’s largest community-wide event, the 27th annual Celebrate Fairfax! Festival, is set to take place June 6-8, 2008 on the grounds of the Fairfax County Government Center. The Celebrate Fairfax! Festival features 25 acres of amazing concerts, family programs, science and technology, history, thrilling carnival rides and nightly fireworks! Among the festival’s highlights are the more than 80 concerts and performances on seven stages, with an exceptional line-up of national, regional and local artists. Concert schedules include:
Friday, June 6th, 8pm: OK Go
Saturday, June 7th, 3pm: Bowling for Soup
Saturday, June 7th, 8pm: Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Sunday, June 7th, 3:30pm: Emerson Drive

General admission seating is available for all performances; shows are free with daily tickets to the event. Advance ticket sales end June 5th and are on sale at Wegmans in Fairfax, Northern Virginia Silver Diner locations and online at www.celebratefairfax.com.
